Open Source
Libre is built on the idea that global manufacturing advances exponentially faster with access to the best of open source than it will by maintaining the status quo of expensive, closed platforms sold by the traditional automation vendors.
Open Standards
When everybody uses a different data model and different protocols to collect and access the stored data, integration falls apart. We use the ISA-95 standard for modeling and open protocols to move data into and out of the platform. It’s the only way forward for Smart Manufacturing.
